Who is sitting at BREMERHAVEN?

BTW, the shot below was as of this morning (I've been in meetings and unable to post).

I'm hoping last on, first off (as I think mine was one of the last cars loaded).

Is it utterly unrealistic to think that maybe it could be to the dealer by Saturday? Or Monday?

doesnt it have to go the VPC first and then for a PDI to the dealer? I assume this will take another week...unless you know something I dont...and since you are close to me any info would be helpful!

There might be a delay but that thread references the VPC in SC not NJ.

I'll see if I can find any recent posts here or elsewhere that talk to recent NJ VPC processing times.

Although, honestly, another week is probably realistic.

OK, before lunch I check the AIS service, and it looked like the map below: (appearing to show the Jingu Maru to be docked)

Now, on AIS it shows the Jingu Maru up to the left in Newark Harbor. (dont know how to make a screencap of map, but its basically where the 'Powhatan' is on the above map).
AND...on the WW site, there are now (2) New York stops showing, instead of 1. One is red and the other is still black. It would apprear it is also making a stop at the Newark Port.
Talked to someone at WW, and she told me my car is getting off at NYC-4 (NEAT) but she couldnt tell me if it had gotten there yet or not.

Thought I saw Jingu Maru at another location in NY sometime today.
Doing this is like pressing the elevator button continually - makes you feel better but doesn't make it come faster.

Somewhere I found, on the web (Port of NY site) - auto marine terminal a diagram of the docks and it shows where the BMW Vehicle center is - but find it again, I can not.

Considering the star on this map is the location of the VPC, I'd have to think our cars were offloaded at the earlier port call.

Thanks TD - found the spot. Ship now gone, I think. Doesn't take them long to offload.

Now I'm down to - do I drive my leased car going back when this ones comes due to not wanting to put more gas in tank. And if I do - how little can I get away with? Had the snow tires swapped out today..
This is rediculous. If we could put a GPS on the delivery truck we'd probably do it.

At times like this, I wish the 800# was more informative.

I am eager to know how long it'll be at the VPC as that's the primary driver at this point determining delivery date.

Not yet. But the ship sailed from NY already. So we have to assume the cars were all offloaded.

The waiting is killing me..especially not knowing if you are one of the few vehicles get damaged..

The SA thinks it should be ready for pickup for next Fri...how many cars do they load per truck..I bet TD and I are on the same truck! We are both in VA and MD area...

Think we should we call the VPC?

Hoping to pick up mine next sat. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. From what I've read on this site though, Priority 1 cars take precedence.

There's actually a live web cam on the top of the statue of liberty, that you can control and view the VPC. It's pretty cool but a little blurry, check it out here ...
