the tail lights are lateral move from what we have now. Same shape and same amount of white. Just different LED pattern.

The headlights are a big downgrade from the current version. Eyebrows? Ugh. They will look even worse with the orange indicator we will get in the US/Canada.

I don't like the eyebrows.
Looks pointless, like it was done just to do something different, but it failed.

It was just a simple way to update the headlights without having to modify the shape of the headlight housing, which means surrounding body parts wouldn't have to be changed to accommodate a new shape. It does look a little more sinister, but I'm still undecided if I like them.

Another Picture Taken in Cape Town

Last week while I was in Cape Town we came across a photo shoot with a 1 series (roof down in the rain) and I can only suspect that its for the LCI. Once they noticed we were taking photos they got quiet hysterical trying to block us .

nice timing. I like that picture, it's like walking in on some people in a back room doing things they aren't supposed to be.

So will the turn signals be the hideous amber we have now or will they be LEDs?

Scott isn't responsible for decisions for the US market. I'm sure we'll continue to get some form of amber corner lights.

I'd be a little bummed if the LCI headlamps had the yellow LED turn signals like the LCI 3 series has. Those do look much nicer than old school amber bulbs like every other cheap car has. The tail lamps I'm not sure how I feel about...the current ones are pretty cool.
