Do you think AHL headlight with led brows can be fitted on 2008 135i with AHL and xenon directly?
No coding?

I can't remember, did you end up replacing your NFRM module, too, to get the lights to work?

I will rewire the led brow inside the lights, so they will behave just like the normal lci Xenos.

To AW: Kept the original FRM, wired a set of capacitors between the harness and the light housing (used 9006 connectors for a clean install). No issues

Could you PLEASE explane it more detailled? Would make my life much easier

However, it is also possible to shut the error message down by using BMW EDIABUS software.

I tried NCS Expert first, unfortunately the FRM would not accept the coding. A new FRM runs $300+ so I wired in a set of capacitors to stop the flickering.

Jori - the easiest way around the frm is to purchase a set of error cancellers and the 9006 connectors from ebay (there are other sources but ebay is the least expensive). I ran a new ground wire on each side from the grounding bolt on the front fenders to the canceller. The positive lead from the harness provides the switched current for the canceller. The other lead from the canceller goes directly to pin 2 (ground) and pin 3 (xenon) of the headlight connection. I used the 9006 connectors to provide a clean installation and allow me to swap out the canceller should it need replacement in the future.

This is good, but can you do it "for dummies" ..... what kind of error cancellors and which 9006 connectors. Perhaps a few pics please.

also - What is the FRM if people want to swap it out?

Thanks much!

do these have similar angel eyes to the 3 or 5 series? I know the older angel eyes (08) were different than the 3s.
