New 135

Picked this up last weekend.

It's a slightly unusual combination - didn't see any others in Monaco blue with the same interior. Loving the grey poplar trim and the chrome window finish.

Performance Exhaust sounds amazing - i'll never get tired of hearing it crackle on the overrun.

Some of the BMW Assist services have expired, so am deciding whether to re-subscribe. At 120 pounds a year, i'm not convinced its worth it.

Already planning a summer blast across France to the Alps!

I love that interior with the anthracite headliner.

Looks great, very nice.
Unusual colour combinations on the 135 seem to be quite rare here in the UK.

We had 7 x 135, 2 x 130LE and a 1M at a meet up down in Dorking last weekend.

As for whether the 120 quid per year is worth it for the Assist stuff, that depends on how much you use the Nav functions?
The Google send to car is so usefull, I'll be stumping up the car to continue the Connect Drive etc when my 3 year period expires in 12 months time.

Thanks all.

On the Assist features - even without the subscription, my nav seems to receive traffic data, should this be happening?

The BMW website is quite unclear about exactly what the subscription services get you. Aside from the Google maps sending function (which I agree would be very useful), does the nav get any better when the assist functions are activated?

Personally, I've been a bit dissappointed with the overall nav experience. It doesnt tell you the speed limit, it doesn't give you an visual indication of what the next turn will be (or how far away it is) and the white line gets lost in large junctions. There's also no speed or red light camera warnings.

My Garmin handheld unit seems to be much better.
