I'm digging the mirror covers. They go well with the original carbon roof. I'd hate to know how much they cost though... At least they are covers and not entire mirror replacements.

Your M4 looks excellent - any plans for color-matching the calipers?

I agree on everything else except the mirrors. On Peter's colors that is an over kill, in many others, a must. Thanks for the thread, it makes it easy to see where and to who I will be sending my wallet.

Agree on the mirrors, likely the OEM painted caps are going back on as I think its just works better for this color.

Not really sure, we'll check when we have a chance.

Thanks! Will be rocking the 18s for a little while longer and then trying a few different sets of wheels from different manufacturers to see what suits best.

Specifically, difference between part# 51192350711 and 51192350712
Part number 51.19.2.350.712 is the carbon portion pictured here, there is a left & right side. Part number 51.19.2.350.711 would be the matte plastic lip underneath.

A good thread with all part numbers can be found here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=102367

Either thinking of Xpel wrap or possibly painting Gloss black to match kidney grilles and other trim. Same with the Side Blade Attachments.

I consider this build as the measuring stick for the AY. You boys truly have an eye for beauty, and I keep drooling on the pictures. Peter will end up with a lot of this stuff too.

Looks good, I really want to see the front splitters in matching paint color, I think the carbon fiber ones take away from the aggressive front end.

the M perf. pieces fit great and are high quality yeah, yeah, yeah whatever.......what remains to be answered is why in the world M perf parts don't come with the "M" cars? these should be low dollar options (especially the exhaust given how terrible the car sounds). I mean damn first 70 to 95k for a 3/4 series then another bullet to the chest with M parts that should come with the M model.

On the other hand good work EAS, purchased lots of stuff from you guys. thanks for the post!

I was thinking more in the lines of getting groups of four, everyone getting something different, like an M3, M3, M5, M6. in different colors of course. Then credit card bills that are the silent killers of tuners everywhere can be recycled for the wifes in the fashion such as this: "It was not for me, I ordered that part for him because he is tuning his car in secret from the wife." Then shook your head, and act like this makes you sick and you'd never do it.

I have a friend who has a project 5 going on and a wife who's sick of cars and car parts. I order them for him now, and hope it'll mask out my own tiny problem... Not very adult like, but I don't care.

Just realized those front splitters don't come with the lip, which is yet another $400

I see it more as a horror story. I'm always going to have a lingering fear the fiancee's going to drop the thing on my head one day when I'm under it.

I thought my husband had lost his voice or something, but he had just opened my bank statement and finally he had found out how much PEter alone cost. I think secret tuning is my only option for now. Divorce is the second...
