Not familiar at all. I've been up to Novi once for a few days, but didn't really get to explore. I'm booked to be up there the last two weeks of July/Aug/Sept, so I'm hoping to meet some other owners.

Look up Curtis Glasper on FB. He does it for $350. Everyone on the Michigan BMW group knows him very well. Only a 20 min drive for you.

Just got a 2011 135i titanium silver, 6 spd, in the Detroit area. Had a friend suggest Notorious Tintz for window tint. Anyone had any experience with them?

Check out Midnight Tinting & Vinyl. His name is Chad, and he's done several high-line cars and loads of local BMWs. His prices are super competitive and with his prices, you're really paying for material over labor.

my white 08 135 got totaled a few months back and I'll be doing a big part out in the next month or so. Mostly stock OEM parts, but a few performance ones. I will give local sales first priority, so PM me if you are in need of something particular and we can work it out from there.

Howdy. Just relocated to the Detroit area from Pittsburgh. Have a 2009 135i.

Is there a dealership or good independent shop in the area that people could recommend? I am living in Indian Village at the moment, but am expecting to be in Grosse Pointe in a few months, so something on the eastern side would be great.

So I am at 7.5 years and 82K miles and apparently the cats are bad. Cost is ridiculous to replace by the dealer. What are my options? Catless DP's and tune? Any idea what is the best/easiest option? Any SE Michigan shops good to go to?

Don't know exactly where you are, but Orion Automotive in Ann Arbor does great work on BMW's.

Pick up a used JB4 on the forums and get a catless downpipe. Your fast car and fat wallet will force a grin on your face from ear to ear

I got a few things left from my part out that are just too big or too heavy to bother with shipping. Set of OEM Brembo calipers $775, full dashboard assembly $500, and a shadow line black window trim $275. Let me know if anyone is interested. Willing to drive 40 miles outside Metro Detroit to meet up.
