Unless you're going to "complete" it by painting it black again, I think people can accurately conclude that it looks like ass.

Those of you in the modding game who do something KNOWING that it's going to unpopular because it's different, why would you post up pics on a forum and then get upset when people bash your ideas? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I honestly think it's tacky, and I should be able to express that without anyone whining or crying and calling me an asshole.

You took a $40k+ car, and did something outlandish and just plain weird, and get upset when people call it ugly. Seriously, everyone just needs to stop being so serious and take things for what they're worth. Have a sense of humor, take some negative criticism. If anything this should make you want to finish your car and show people that they're wrong and you know what you're doing. I'm sure the first person to do a rust hood on their car was made fun of, and now it's trendy...don't cry about people's negative comments and keep your head up, and people will respect you for trying something different.

I want everybody who likes this to sit back and think of this question for a second.

What would you have said if someone posted this paint scheme and splitters on a stock Civic or corolla?

TheN you will really see how much of a hypocrite you are and maybe you will stop defending this car.

I don't mind the look. I personally would've left the splitters black, black the grill out, and get the euro clear headlights. Then dark wheels and tint. That I think would go over a lot better and suggest a mild "theme". I've been on plenty of car forums and seen threads like this turn into show car masterpieces. then everyone puts thier feet in thier mouths. I think right now there is too much going on to look at the car as a whole coordinated effort. With a little tweaking, I think it would be a great and unique car. Thumbs up for trying something new and not following the masses. I wish my car would stand out as much as yours but unfortunatley the look I want can only be accomplished with parts and a scheme that everyone and thier momma has done. But I'm happy still. Glad you are too.

Should have done the whole car. I'll give you an A for the idea, but a F on the execution.

Mistakes:

1. Posting on the internet and expecting nothing but positive feedback.
2. Posting about how you kick peoples asses on the internet.
3. Is that spray paint? It is huh? Yeah.. That's spray paint.

People on this forum don't seem to know or else don't respect the rules of this forum. It is sad.

Post Reporting and Rules

1) Respect. By far the most important rule here. Through the generations of BMW, enthusiasts have come together for the love of the car and the community. So the basic rules of real life apply here, show each other respect and you will get respect as well. Don't bash someone else here because you feel like it. Derogatory remarks will not be tolerated.

What the hell is wrong with this forum.. I post pictures on several other forums and I get positive helpful ideas to help make my vision come to life, supportive constructive conversation that's enjoyable ... I post pictures on this forum and douchebags ..... You know exactly who you are offer nothing but trash and just hateful to no end... I understand if you don't like it but the colorful disrespect you offer is unnecessary and starts nothing but flames.
I agree, Post pics when its done, I would like to see what u came up with
