don't be a hater ...it's a buyers market for used cars. I'll most likely get a 996tt and tune it. a lot.

Yeah I know, just the price range/mileage I am looking for seems to fall mostly under those year models.....just window shopping for now...wouldn't take that plunge, if I do indeed decide to go that route, for a while.

I wonder who was that?

My race weight was 3260lb. I think I can get it down lower, if I wanted too.

I needed my 135 as a daily driver, otherwise I would have went with something else. Porsche's are expensive and not real functional as daily drivers. If you can stand driving something else at least half the time they are hard to beat. My 1994 968 Cabriolet is barely even a Porsche and only has 250 or so HP, but I still like it better than my 135 and drive it around a third of the time.

I'd pick up a used cayman s. 996's are too rich for my blood. Anywho, back on topic. shouldn't we group rotational mass together since they help the car move faster than just removing dead weight. i.e clutch, flywheel, drive shaft, wheels, tires, brake rotor etc.

I'd be very curious to see the results of this. Would rather do this then a fly wheel.

http://www.pstds.com/custom_driveshafts.htm <- this site quotes 679-1500 for a custom cf shaft. group buy anybody?
