Help!!! I think I have a lemon

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I've got an E88 bought CPO 8/2014 with 31000 miles. After one month a plethora of issues started to happen.

1) september 2014 replaced water pump
2) mid September 2014 replaced water pump again
3) Mid October replaced DME supposedly damaged from coolant from the water pump.
4) Mid November CEL started. The MAF wand one O2 sensor was replaced.
Dealer has had the car since beginning of last week when CEL started again.
They are in contact with BMW.
Dealer is very reputable and I trust them, all work was warranteed and they have provided a loaner.

I should note that after second water pump went i removed all mods except the BMW PE.

My question is what recourse as a consumer do I have? Is there a BMW consumer affairs hotline I can call? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think for an actual "lemon" you need to visit the dealer X amount of times over the same issue.

You'll need to look up the literature to find out what actually qualifies as a lemon

Lemon laws are different for each state. You may have to check your laws first.

Hardly a lemon. It's just a 1 series with problems.

+1. Also, lemon laws only apply to the original owner in my state.

just to clarify. I don't want to pursue any type of lemon law but my issues are one after another and not something I've experienced before. It is past the point of simply a 1er with some issues. the car has stranded me on more than one occasion. I found a number and an email address from a website. bmwproblems.com.
I will try that just simply trying to let bmw know that I am a long time owner and I'm not happy.

Depends on how it was Lemon'ed

My car is actually a Lemon, it was lemon'ed at 4k miles due to Electrical Issues (bad fuse box and a faulty tail light ground).

I bought the car and BMW had a year warranty on it if any issues related to the reason why it was Lemon'ed they'd buy it back no questions asked.

I'm at 34,000 miles now with no issues.

It was a CPO with non-BMW mods?
