Cheap Ebay Black Aluminum Pedals
Up until 1 month ago I never purchased a thing on ebay and now I feel like I've missed out on some good ish! I picked these up for $50 shipped which included the dead pedal that I haven't installed. I still cant figure out how to remove the oem plastic dead pedal to install the new one. Any how I can't say enough how impressed I am with the quality of this set. I don't see why anyone would spend anymore money on another set other then for the Label status.
A couple before and after pics! The ebay sellers name is 3amotors and the shipping time took around 2 weeks. Word of advice the aluminum dead pedal does not fit to cover the oem plastic one completely so id advise against it unless you don't care. I'm OCD like that so I figured id share the bad. Very sleek sexy look to the finish off my interior.

I picked up a set from JBSpeed on here for ~$60 shipped with the M-logo on it (MSport counts, right? ) I "removed" the dead pedal and it appears that they are held on by just push-in clips that are molded into the pedal, but they all broke off at the base of the clip on the dead pedal, so it really isnt possible to reinstall completely. However, the new dead pedal DOES cover all of the OEM mounting points through the carpet and the screws provided start and hold very well. Mine look very similar to yours in shape and grip design, they just have the ///M logo at the top.

I bought silver ones off ebay and I am also very happy with them, especially for the price. The rubber is heavy as is the aluminum. Shipping was more than the pedals but delivered it was under $50. I just put the deadpedal over the existing one.
One thing to watch out for is the length of the screws and the throttle pedal box. After installing the gas pedal I had a screw that could have punctured the plastic housing behind the pedal and possibly stuck open the throttle. I pulled the pedal - not super simple but not that bad - and trimmed the screw to prevent that. Jim
