JB+ at 100%

For those who run the JB+, anyone out there who's run it at 100% and any feedback on codes or pump failures?

Im at 75%. Would also be interested in finding out if there is a noted improvement by going to 100%.

Several people are running at 100% without codes. Supposedly doing the selonoid bypass makes a big difference as well when running it on that setting as well.

That being said, you should still get a BT scanner as any tune at any settings can throw a code in the right conditions...

If you have 93 octane and do the solenoid bypass you will notice a difference for sure. As far as pump failures go there is really no direct link that shows that a tuner makes them fail faster from what my tech at the dealer said. he has had many stock N54's in with failed pumps several times before 10,000 miles and some that never fail. It is the luck of the draw with the pumps.

Also you should not get codes having it on 100% but it is possible and that is the reason for having a scanner like a BT.

What is a "solenoid bypass"? And how does it help?

^^^ Nice... Does JB+ not produce to its full potential without the bypass? I guess my quetion is, is this necessary and if so does it only help at certain settings or all?

Yes it is a great mod to do no matter what setting you are on. It keeps the boost up longer through the rpm range. it is the same thing the JB3 does but manually instead of electronically like the JB3.

Running at 100% with bypass. No codes.

Anyone running a tune should have a BT scanner...PERIOD. There is no reason not have one.

Don't need and CAN'T do it. Solenoid bypass HAS TO BE BROUGHT BACK TO STOCK before installing/upgrading to the JB3.

Do you only get max output running at 100% with 93 octane or does it matter? I only have access to 91 octane and wonder what max capability is with JB+?

Max power with the Jb+ is at 100% on 93 or better on 91 you shouldnt run anything more than 75%. Do you have a JB+?

No I do not as of yet but I will likely be getting one because it seems a lot easier to install. I am debating about JB3 or JB+ due to my technical incompetence.

At 75% what kind of gains are expected?

75% is 3/4, thus pointing at the 3 o clock right? The dial doesnt have numbers, and technically because the pin cant spin to 6, im almost confuse where is 75% haha, i think im on 70%
