I got the part

but it I couldn't work out how it would help align the 3 holes that don’t align.

Here is the part:

It’s the shorter one.

Here is what I see happening (correct me if I am wrong, anyone) the 3 bolts in the middle of the bumper would screw on to the new piece. Then the side portions of the new piece (the square things on each side) would bolt onto the bottom of the car. But unfortunately I cannot find where on the bottom of the car they actually bolt on lol

So I just left it as is; missing 3 middle screws in the middle of the bottom portion. I figured that 15 or so other bolts (and 2 clips on each side) will hold it just fine.
Hope that help,
Alex

Oh I also tried to put the 128i fog lights in the 135i bumper and failed. The 128i fog light’s housing seems to be a bit bigger than the holes on the 135i bumper…

It looks like the fog light mounting bracket for the 128i and the M-Sport 128i are different. Since the M-Sport 128i has fog lights and a 135i bumper maybe the M-Sport parts would fit?

Dynamotorsports, where are they located and what kind of Dyno machine do they have? BTW with the name like Dynamo Tor Sports... it sounds like they're from our homeland...

Here's my 128 with the 135 bumper and euro fogs. The kit can be ordered from United BMW (check commercial sales thread). Here's a link to some install pics:

Euro fogs are round and are designed to fit onto the 135 bumper recess with a special frame insert. 128 fogs are horizontal and won't fit. The 135 doesn't come with standard foglights because there is an oil cooler in that position which the 128 does not have.

Thats not bad actually!

I might be looking at making a custom ram air, it will go where the fog lights are... I will give it some more thought, if not I might get the euro fogs like you

Yeah, but aren't those the same fogs that the 128i M-Sport comes with? (In other words, they are OE on US-spec vehicles).

No idea. The M-sport package was not available when I ordered my 09 I just wanted to post that these can be fitted to a 135 bumper on a 128.
