Talking From God, the BMW M2 is the best car in the world!

Yes, there isn't any doubt now. The world's premier authority on everything including cars has just pronounced the M2 is the go to ride for the connoisseur, like myself, of fine automobiles:

http://www.driving.co.uk/car-reviews...w-2016-bmw-m2/

I had better get one. I won't be able to stand the embarrassment of being seen in my lowly One!

Can't really tell if you're being sarcastic. Glad Clarkson liked it, it's a damned good car! But he didn't say it was the best in the world.

The M2 is damn good though, drove it on a short track monday. Try to take advantage of bmw's track days they've been offering free hpde events featuring the m2 and i8 at tracks all over the country.

It's very direct and fairly light feedback is probably just below the stock 135i. The funny thing is I've never driven it on the road so i can't give you how it feels compared to my 135i like that. The car just turns for days, it felt like driving my m roadster.

the motor and dct are perfection if you want to track the car

it's is quite a bit down on power than my car, can't wait to see what tuners can do with it

Didn't Road & Track have a different conclusion a month or so back?

I'm simply saving you time, energy, and effort considering any other ride. BTW, Jeremy isn't really a BMW fan. He has always preferred Mercedes, so it is unusual that he give the M2 such high marks.

Anyway, the M2 is quite a bargain for the money, and it sure beat spending the bucks for something like an over priced Porsche. If you can gets your hands on one, grab it!

Porsches are not overpriced. If they were, they would be sitting on the dealer's lot. The reality is you get what you pay for with a BMW or a Porsche. That's an objective fact.

Everytime I visit my dealership there is an M2 in the showroom. The Salesman I know always tries to talk me into one. He had a 135i and now he has an M2 and loves it.
If the economy were better I might do it. But I still like every moment I spend in my 135i.

Especially on the highway when I need some s e p a r a t i o n from the pack.

Just for fun I called a local BMW dealer tonight and a salesperson told me it would be 2 years before I could get an M2. I called back 5 minutes later and spoke to a different salesperson and he said I could get an M2 by December. WTF? Glad I'm not really interested. We should all call and see what different answers we get.

Is the M2 a bargain compared to the GT350?

My Dad wants to get a 2017 Lincoln Continental. He visited the dealership and called them and they can't or won't give him a price. lol

Nope, lol. And GT350s aren't hard to find now either. Walked into my local Ford dealer this past weekend and they told me they could have a custom ordered GT350 ready for me to pick up in 12 weeks. I'm not on any wait list and have never been to their dealer (or any Ford dealer) before. Meanwhile my local BMW dealer got 4 M2 allocations total and had 25 people on the list.

December is just four months away, that's actually fine. But, LCI is coming and every sane person waits for mid-cycle refreshes.

And I would not give that dealership any business.

Yeah, I agree the December date wasn't bad at all, but the idiot who told me 2 years? That's just crazy!

And no, that's not the dealer that I do business with, but it is in the area. Haven't checked with mine yet. Like I said, not really interested. Wouldn't mind a test drive though.

As I told you earlier, do test drive the M2. Preferably with MPE.

Some day, possibly. When it's convenient. Would like to hear the M Performance exhaust in person.
