Respray Options
So thinking about a respray on the 1er. Unfortunately I'm getting some oxidation on the roof. And the front end is chipped city after 90k miles. I don't think I will do anything except the Monaco Blue metallic as a base color, always liked that color. But wondering if I can work some custom into that. Nothing outrageous maybe a subtle two tone or ghost stripes.
Anybody done anything like that? Looking for ideas. |

I would just stick with the original color which you stated you like. Why complicate things?

Depending on the severity of the oxidation on the roof, a professional detailer may be able to remove it. I was successful in removing some unsightly oxidation from the top of the rear bumper on my E36 M3.
If the oxidation has gotten to the point where the clear coat is failing, I would get the roof wrapped in black vinyl. As for the front end, I would just get the bumper resprayed. |
