Actually, I had attempted to do some donuts and somehow got stuck in a perpetual circle for weeks on end. Eventually I made it out though. I'm like the guy whose zipper got stuck in the bathroom in Summer School.

Hey! Why the hell it putting a weird oval around my avatar now?!

Here's some comparison pics, I like it a lot. The light is brighter but softer as well so it's not blinding. I know other aftermarket ones are even brighter but I didn't need anything along those lines. Not looking to perform surgery.

Looks good! I'm sure it's hard to capture in pics, but the footwell pics seem to really the show the difference in brightness and crispness.

How long did it take you to install, and do they provide the plastic tool? Of course, not sure why I'm even thinking about it -- with a convertible top there won't be more than 5 lights...

Took me 10 mins, and pulling out the bulb from the socket was harder than removing the trim LOL. I couldn't find my trim tool kit so I used a small flathead and carefully pried open. Once you get it slightly open you can use your hands to gently unclip the covers.

They offer a smaller kit for what it's worth, I believe it might be 6 bulbs only.

Looking really good in profile with the performance sideskirts and spoiler. Somehow I missed you getting the diffuser, too.

You're running out of BMW performance parts to put on there!!! Only things left are what, performance rotors and perhaps the yellow performance calipers that only owen2001 is sporting. Oh, guess there's the CF trim interior as well.

Any more/future plans? You know what I'd suggest of course. =P

I've seen the CF interior, and I'm honestly not in love with it. I like the stock gray calipers, more stealth mode, and I'm not super jazzed on the rotors either.

The other thing that is available is the Performance front bumper and the CF splitters, but I prefer the stock M-Sport bumper.

I want to do BMW Performance suspension, but I need to get more than a 1/2" drop, so I'm still undecided on that front.

Blasphemy on the performance rotors! Well, the fronts are nice looking, but not worth the money unless you ever have to replace your rotors.

Man, more than a 1/2" drop? I wouldn't go that low, but I'm pretty conservative. I suppose you could always go with something like the ohlins coilovers which are supposed to be great, and relative to how much they cost on other cars and other suspension kits/coilovers on our cars, for like $2100 I guess they're a pretty good deal. The performance suspension though is ohhhh so good. =P You could always get the performance suspension kit and just get different springs to get you whatever ride height you want. I know Harold at HPA always highly recommends koni yellows with swift r spec springs, too.

Now someone come wash and detail my car. Much obliged.

Do what I did, BMW PS + Dinan Springs. Still not nearly as harsh as other aftermarket setups, OEM quality but more drop than the PS Yellow. Not to mention I have Dinan fixed plates which gives me an additional 1/4" in height and without them it'd be even lower.

Yeah....that looks really good. I think I'll have to go for that.

I believe they are only sold by the pair, so that price would be for both sides. They come primed, but not painted.

I think for the wheels I'm going to stick with something with a bit of contrast, I don't wanna go completely black-on-black. Just saving up for HREs or something...

Install was super easy. Speakers on the doors pop off, then three bolts to undo, one plug and done. Caps came primed, so I had them painted BSM with the side skirts.

Nice Worra!
The mirrors are definitely on my list. Do they auto fold or did your car not have that option in the first place? I can't seem to find used ones with the auto fold feature. And brand new I think I saw them for $900 for one. Seems like a lot for a mirror.

I believe I paid about $675 for the pair. Shop around. My car doesn't have the premium package (auto folding), so I ordered the corresponding mirrors.

And Worra, hopefully after seeing that, you're convinced that you really don't want to be any lower than THAT. I think the dinan springs make it 0.1" lower than the bmw performance springs, is that right 3002 tii? That dinan springs lower it 0.5" vs 0.4" from the BMW performance springs? I don't think you can go wrong with either. I also wonder if there's any real difference in feel between a car with the BMW PS full kit vs one with the dinan springs instead. I have no idea.

Best way to tell is for you and me to take respective measurements but I suspect the Dinan may be lower than by more than 0.1"
