Spacers?

Hey guys, I did do some searching, but I think the info I need is buried in 10+page build threads.

I am trying to order some parts, and I want to order spacers while I am at it.

19x9 Kosei K8R wheels, is there a consensus on what size spacers I need?

Thanks in advance.

Offsets? Tire size? Alignment? Ride height? Bueller?

Whatever gets you to around 35-40 offset, give or take depending on strut configuration

42 offset. I was under the impression that this was the standard STX set up, and as such, the offset and therefore the spacer size well known.

I think you meant 17x9. I’m running 15mm up front to clear my spring perches. Your ASTs might need more or less depending on ride height, etc.

Are you sure? I am quite sure that when I had a set, they were +45. I ran them with a 10mm spacer front, no spacer rear, and 255-40-17 RE71Rs which worked well on my STX 128.

Refer: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...87&postcount=9

Anyways, it has been my experience that a +35 front 9" wide wheel is perfect on my car when using 255 RE71Rs. I could probably get away with a few mm closer to the strut if my tire choice wasnt so wide.

I agree with this. 17x9 k8r are ET45 wheels. You need at least an 8mm spacer up front which makes them effectively ET37. A larger spacer like 10mm or 12mm usually have the lips on them which makes centering and mounting the wheel easier.

The rear will need a bit of a roll if you don't want to run a lot of camber.
