Front Lip Options
Hey so I want to get a front lip for my car but what I really want is a true lip and the only option that seems to match what I am looking for is the SLEK front lip, does anyone know of other similar options out there? I really really really do not want to wait the month to get it produced but it really does look like the best option out there. I wouldn't mind getting an adjustable one but I haven't seen any of those.
Anyways any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Scopione. The weave is great and it has more than enough mounting holes. Light, but strong.

So I found Alberto at Slek email address and the actual lead time is 3-5 business days so I did what any good 1er would and ordered it immediately. The last planned current cosmetic mod will be done next weekend!

Nice! I usually tell people to contact SLeK and say Philip sent them, Alberto then usually responds pretty fast. Either SLeK or HP Autowerks should have it in stock most of the time.

Installed today!
Alberto was talking about new skirts and I think he said they are testing them on your car when they get the mold made, could be pretty sick from what he showed me. |

Yeah they should be like the 1M sideskirts but just flowing with our body lines more. Hopefully it happens soon!

I've seen a lot of options since and I am still liking my decision. We have crazy driveway angles and dips all over LA so I have scratches on the bottom but it's holding up perfectly. If I had a drop it would look even better but maybe later.

is it bolted + tape? And are the holes pre-drilled on the lip and reusing the existing bolts we have? Did you buy from slek directly and how much?

Another option is the Schmiedmann front lip. It's a similar design to E46 CSL but with the centre joined.

Direct bolt on using OEM holes and bolts except you'll need 2 longer bolts provided. Everything is pre-drilled and you'll have to use 3m tape as well. Yes I did get it directly from SLeK in long beach.

I know the Schmiedmann front lip is an option but I'm not aware of anyone who installed this yet and posted pics.
I know onefast1 bought this piece and I'm waiting for his review as well. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=884877&page=3 In the meantime... perhaps I'll contact SLeK
