If a badge is a deal breaker, then I'd say you are buying the car for the wrong reasons. If the badge is ridiculously long or ugly, you can always de-badge.

Damn, you guys are stupid if you can't sense abit (yes, be it a very small bit) of humor!

I was kidding about it being a deal breaker and the entire thread was more or less a joke.
