Heres the BS I don't like. The picture of the guages is cropped like this intentionally, leaving everyone guessing as to the redline numbers. Either that, or Scott knew that the guage that was actually photographed did not represent the true redline, and cropped it. I have to ask myself, whey would he do either of these actions?

The pics do suck. But now I'm just hoping that Mwheel will be an easy swap to fit in my 135. I think it should have came with the msport package to begin with.
Sure would be nice to hear a story from a fellow addict in Europe coming across these prototypes on the road for a little cat and mouse action against a 35i (with a tune). Damn I wish I was still in Germany. |

I'm pretty sure like the paint, the seats are not going to standard. Even if they are standard, I would easily and happily live with cloth seats in a 1M if the price is right. People in this thread content with CLOTH seats need to really take a seat back because this is a sports car and not an econobox pos. The minimum trim should be alcantera but here's hoping for leather similar to recaro's with more side bolstering

I have to say this launch of the 1M Series Coupe is really poor campaign compared to the E46, E90/92 M3s and E60 M5. It would be more efficient to show the car as is, do some tests and press releases. This tease you dont get from the the competitors at Porsche, Audi etc. Very muddled messages - I would question the PR/marketing strategy. Come on BMW AG you can do better.
