I started to pick up so I could get the car (M) back in the garage and got side tracked. The rest just kinda happened. Wrapped up about 11.

I've always got a question in the back of my head when ordering exhaust parts. You really just don't quite know what you are going to get until it shows up, especially from a quality standpoint. I couldn't be happier with these headers. Fit, finish and welding is all excellent. It will be a shame to cover them up with exhaust wrap.

I just showed our lead mechanic here at work your thread. He was impressed. He rebuilds classics on the side. He also taught me a few things while we were at it.

After it's been to the body shop and the cage builders. The motor's not going in until I know the frame can be straightened.

Finally! Part and some progress.... The brake discs, rear LSD and wheels showed up today. So, the front brakes went on tonight. The rear hubs and brakes should go in tomorrow. The LSD may also go into the diff casing tomorrow. If I can get some tires mounted up, there may be some pics of the car an the ground by Saturday.

You got a problem with white on white?
I got a deal on them and Tom is friends with a guy that owns a powder coating shop. Expect the color to change at some point in the future.

One side of the rear brakes went on tonight. I forgot how much I hate dealing with drum brakes (the e-brake is a drum on the rears).

It's not in roller quite yet. I've got a pair of bolts for one of the front struts on order from Subaru. Tires are getting mounted on the wheels today. I should also get the last brake/hub and the rear diff assembled today. Assuming all goes well, I'll be two bolts away from putting the car on the ground and getting to a bodyshop.

That's fantastic!! I wish I were closer. I'd love to lend a hand. We should plan a reassembly bash, once you get teh car back from the bodyshop? I'm sure there's plenty of us meatheads that would love to stand around and laugh watching each other rip their knuckles off as wrenches slip...

The rear diff is back together. I took 5 hrs, mostly messing with the setup to get bearing preload, pinion engagement and ring gear runout all within spec at the same time. As such, not much else got done today on the car. Oh yeah, tires did get mounted today.
