NJ: Need someone to take over lease for 2012 135iS M-Sport FULLY LOADED + $3K! ASAP
Hey all. I'm a regular over at BimmerForums and I just registered here to help my buddy out who is trying to rid of his lease for this 2012 135i M-Sport. So here it is. I'm not trying to be disrespectful of this site, but rather just to help my friend out so why not pitch this to the 1-Addicts forum? Happy holidays btw, and I'm jealous that all of you own 1ers, because I want one >.<. Anyway, here's the original listing that I posted from BF.C. Hey all. For those located in the tri-state NY/NJ/PA area, or quad-state including CT, one of my close friends/Business colleagues has a brand new, E82 2012 BMW 135iS M-Sport with the 7-Speed Dual-Clutch transmission that's leased for 36 months at $732/month. He can't justify the need for the car so he is looking for someone to TAKE OVER HIS LEASE to minimize his losses. HE WILL GIVE $3,000 CASH TO THOSE WHO TAKE OVER THE LEASE ON THE SPOT. This baby is fully loaded. Below is the description of the car from the owner: Completed 4 months. 32 months remaining @ $732/month 2012 135i Le Mans Blue Metallic/ Black Leather -Premium Package -M Sport Package -Cold Weather Package -iPod/ USB -Steptronic Dual Clutch Transmission -Navigation -Premium Sound System (Harmon Kardon) -BMW Apps -Sat Radio (Sirius) -paddle shifters No money down, just pay the transfer fee ($500-550). TIRE/WHEEL INSURANCE INCLUDED PAYING $732/month. Will pay whomever wants to assume the lease $3000 to take over and reduce payments for remaining term. -Each $1000 reduces their lease conceptually by approx $30/month. So $3000 will effectively reduce their payment by $93/month and make it $639/month. In other words: if you accept to take over this lease, you will receive $3,000 cash and you can use it however you want. You will have a great lease with no money down, it will include tire/wheel insurance which other leases do NOT and they will have a super low payment for a fully equipped BMW 135. All that is required from the buyer: a credit score above 700, which will be checked through BMW of Princeton, in Princeton, NJ, and the $500-$550 transfer fee. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, and this is for ASAP. Please PM me or email me at Christopher.M.Chin@Gmail.com. Thanks. Any questions, please feel free to ask. These photos were taken yesterday and more are available upon request. |

I think you should talk to your friend some more.
Because the lease 'deal' you posted for him isn't a deal. I just ran the numbers and your friend basically got the car at msrp. The tire insurance might have been thrown in, but nothing else. If I price a new one with all the packages, and pay invoice + ~600 bucks profit to dealer. I wind up with the same monthly payment as your friend does after his $3000 incentive. I'm not trying to thread crap. Just posting facts. Why would I take over your friends lease, when I can go to my local BMW dealer and order one exactly how I want it for the same price? |

Arguably, in classic roundel nomenclature, it would be proper to attribute an S at the end of the model designation (I'm referring to the original E12/E28 535iS, the E24 633/635CSI, E30 318/325iS et al)
Just bumping this because the car is still available. Terms of the lease trade have been slightly modified and the car is also listed on LeaseTrader. Feel free to PM or email me for more info! Last edited by chinny4290; 02-15-2012 at 01:16 PM.. |

With regard to the 1-series, the 1M was also considered to be called the 135is (obviously M1 was out) and early unofficial rumors/spy shots, etc called it the 135is. For the next generation, the latest news/rumor I saw in the Roundel (Feb 2012), said the next generation (F20) 1-series M model coupe will in fact be called a 135is, with no true 1M model in the works. So you may "arguably" claim a 135i M-sport could be called a 135is, but most people here would disagree. GLWS. |
