Im in a 1800sqft. for 1200$month and ive already pulled over 80k in equity into my pocket! (well I bought the wife a horse trailer with full living quarters and me a weekend warrior for all my toys!)

Yes roveractive deals do not come with bulbs and ballasts so this would probably be a good deal!

Yeah, that's what I was talking about possibly for the 2007 e90's.

I'm working on it, but you guys have to understand that these are NEW IN THE BOX, not used, or from a recycler.

creativeautoworks, I am truely serious about the euro and have stated that in a few threads. I've followed longtran thread on his euro mod. I am confused when you say "yes" about the plug when longtran said that the euro plug is different then the US plug. Is there something I am missing here? Pls verify. Also, is there anyway you can hook us up with only the housing with the clear corner? I think it would be a cheaper alternative for us who are willing to take the internal lights assembly from our US light and reassemble it into the euro housing (if that is even possible). $1600 is way too much for me and I am still confused about the headlight plug being exactly the same. thanks.

There is a DIY on the halogen to Zenon conversion. I think it just comes down to cuting and running one wire differently.

If Long had xenon originally, then it is not plug and play. Here is his post. Long would have to verify if his car came with xenon before he did the euro mod.

here is what he said in one of his post about the plug and play and how he had to rewire it cuz the plug/harness are different. I am just trying to get more detail for the member here and for myself.

NO MORE ERROR!! yahhhhhhhhooooooooo...... :rocks:

I got some more info from the dealer - but still am confused. My salesman said that the install was pretty difficult, like having to modify stuff to make it work. But the service manager said the only difficult part was having to take wheels and bumper off to do it all - but that as far as plugin and electrical was concerned, it was plug and play. So I have 2 stories and have yet to talk to the guy that actually did it to get the straight story - will update as I get more info

Hey foofighter, if I buy this, I will do the install myself. If I am going to pay $1600, I want to make sure that it is plug and play and the harness is exact between U.S. and Euro. The 3 quotes you post are from those who brought their car to the dealer for installation. Long did the install himself and if it was plug and play as the dealer said, why would he goes thru the trouble of cutting up the wires? I am still confused.

Edit: Well, I guess I will not buy it at the moment. Thanks for the offer tho, maybe something different will come along later on. Thanks.

i totally agree with you and wanting to get to the bottom of it. it truly confounds me that it would be that tedious to install headlights...and wouldnt you expect the dealer to charge you more if they had to cut and solder wires? Heck some dealers wouldnt even do it because of warranty issues that might arise out of doing just that.

Once my 330 comes i will dissect the wiring or at least trace it and compare it to the ecodes and map it all out...
