Ok. I am not very well versed with the ATR software. If I send in my AP to you guys with my tune still installed an married to the car, will it be a problem?

Thanks.

Should I feel a bump from Stage 1 to Stage 1+ FMIC? I got my FMIC installed and changed the map and it did not feel anything. If anything it felt like it lagged more. No codes. Had new exhust and FMIC installs checked by two techs. Temps on the FMIC are great now compared to the stock. Almost want to say I left more of a power drop with the Berk install then the FMIC. But changing maps did not provide anything. Should I have seem an improvement?

Yes it should be a noticeable improvement, make sure you're running the right map for your octane then log so we can see what's going on. Some people make mistakes changing maps going from Stage 1 aggressive to stage 1+ sport.

Hmmm, I don't have any codes being thrown for that on mine...you checked the codes to make sure that's what it was right?

The p375c modified ROM code is normal after a flash, correct? I can just go back to the stock map and clear code(s) it if I need to get the car serviced.

So I've noticed on my friends car that when he changed from stage 1+fmic aggressive to stage1+fmic sport the fuel economy got much worse. Drives the same route to work nothing else changed on his setup. Is sport running that much richer?

I ran the Stage 2+ Aggressive setup on my 2009 135i and found absolutely no decrease in fuel economy. I typically averaged between 34 and 35 mpg on the interstate when on road trips, and 22 mpg around town, if I wasn't using the AC. With the AC on, it dropped to 20 or so around town, 32 on the interstate.

If your friend is getting worse gas mileage, then he's either flooring the gas all around town cause he enjoys the increased power so much, or he needs to do a tune-up on his car.

He went from aggressive to sport since the power band was smoother and less glitchy and I know he drives fairly conservative overall.

How many miles are on his car? And how much of a reduction is he seeing?

1.4mpg difference. That's a big difference IMO and considering the power difference. city driving 18 vs 16.6

Anyone gone from stage 1 aggressive to stage 1 fmic? I want to know your thoughts. I'm not interested in going stage 2 and am just curious if its worth going from 1 to the 1+fmic map

My buddy has a FMIC and we both have cobb, and he dogs me! Plus he doesn't suffer from hear soak after a hard pull!

Stage1+ FMIC makes more power than Stage2. The difference should be very noticeable.

If you have a question on the fueling differences, you can download ATR for free and view the separate maps. There is no reason that the Sport map would lower fuel economy that much. If the Aggressive map wasn't working well, did he contact our customer service or send in logs? The OTS maps are really solid at this point. Unless there's an issue or the car is particularly odd, there are generally very few issues. We're always here to help, just call in if there's a problem.
