question on paint damage
Hey, guys -
can't figure out what may have caused it. Do NOT remember scraping a curb or anything like that. Seems to be an unlikely spot to have been done by another car. Also, since this is plastic/composite, what is the best way to go about fixing, if at all? Thanks. BNW |

Could be road tar, or just grime kicking up from the rear tires.
Try using some bug & tar remover. If its a scratch, then you are probably best off just respraying the bumper. |

I agree it could be tar. check it with a tar remover first. if it is a scratch then a local body shop can usually repair it for less that 300.00. the panel just pops off and they will sand primer then paint the part and pop it back on.
