Quite possible. I saw a Montego Blue 335i a few weeks ago, all shined up at the dealer, and it looked closer to the photos on Irv's site than the 'ring photos. It certainly had more glow and sparkle in person.
A friend of mine had a Topaz Blue Metallic (IIRC that was the name) 330Ci; it was a killer color for that car. Montego blue is high on my list of considerations for that reason. I'm torn between AW, JB, and MB. I tend to like the lighter colors on the flame-surfaced cars, as they show the contours better. Over the years Bangle's designs have grown on me, and I rather like the 1er coupe's surfacing. JB hides that somewhat. |

the Ring car is Montego. It's not the light. LeMans is a super-saturated medium blue. Montego Blue is lighter and uses more metallic. The difference is especially apparent in your comparison pics. I'll get it if it's offered here even if it's tied into a sports option package as in Germany. It's gorgeous. |

That is LeMans pic is absolutely amazing. I'd certainly pay a premium for that color.

On offer in Germany you have to get this (337) option.
261M's are my favorite wheels...I figure this is a $1500 pkg...but I don't have any real info...nevertheless....LeMans Blue and 261M's...wow. Put lemon interior in there and its a package. |

Sorry...can't help myself...this is my favorite all-time blue.
Bugatti Blue on a 1926 Bugatti Type 39. I'd love it if BMW and other car companies offered their cars in solid colors beyond the usual suspects. The green Benz behind is awfully nice too. As is, we probably get red, white, and black. Nice start but I'd like more on offer. |

AW looks hot. I am leaning heavily towards white at this point, although LeMans Blue sure is neat. |

Well your welcome to your opinion.
I do think that solid non-metallic colors will re-emerge. I'm tired of glassy looking reflective paint - it seems played out - a trend that needs to re-invent itself (something Sedona Red tries to do). |

White, black, red and silver (and variations thereof - pearl white, metallic black, etc) are constants. Blue and green are available in long cyclic periods. Yellow, orange, purples, etc are faddish and cycle through quickly -remain dormant then pop up again (cicada colors). And then there's the car dealers' favorite color of all, "hang around brown". ; -)

The s2000 CR looks like ass. Especially in that god-awful color. There, I said it.

I'm always struck by how much the 1-er looks the e46 M3. Of course you would want this interior? |
