BlueBatmobile Amber Turn Signal Overlays

Do you love your 1er but constantly find yourself disappointed with the amber corners? Sure, you could always pay $1,300 for the Euro headlights but I'd like to propose a much more cost-effective process!

Andrew Mercado is the owner of a very successful operation he calls BlueBatmobile. They've been mentioned before on this forum and are very well known for their top quality fitment, great customer service and durable products. See www.BlueBatmobile.net for all of his work!

I bought their overlays for my previous car, a Subaru WRX, and they lasted as long as I had the car even with our extreme climate (-58°F up to 113°F). No chipping, peeling, or weathering what so ever.

These vinyls are pretty much like tint you'd put on your windows except they're a bit thicker and are therefore more durable and can stand up to the elements.

Here are some example pictures of his work:

BMW 3-series:

Honda Civic: (yeah, they have the same problem as us)

Acura TSX:

As you can see, the light shines through the vinyl just fine so others can still see when your blinkers are on:

All he needs to start production is a test car to take some measurements on in the San Diego area and then we can start "fixing" our headlights for $20!

Please contact Andrew at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com if you're in the San Diego area and do all of us 1Addicts a big favor.

**Disclaimer**

I am in no way affiliated with BlueBatmobile, I'm just giving my personal opinion on these products and spreading the word!

Even with the disclaimer, it's a come-on for a commerical product and will get better results when moved to the Commercial Sales section.

They should make version with some eyelids to help make those damn big headlights look a little smaller.

Id love to get a pair of these. To get rid of the amber in the front and tint the backs a bit. Maybe some eyelids too. Thats a good idea!
