My car goes into the body shop in March to replace the rear bumper & to add performance side skirts. New wheels (HRE FF15) are at the dealerships performance center getting wrapped in MPSS's. Wheels and ST Coilovers are scheduled for some time in March once they clear the salt off these
Thanks! I'm running a Ground Control coilover kit and the wheels are apex ec7's. More details in my build thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...php?p=18519157

We had an absolutely beautiful week of weather here in the mid-atlantic. I got a chance to wash her up and take a few topless drives. I was running errands today and snapped a couple of quick pics before it gets totally dirty again.

Please give me some tips on how to wash a 1-Series convertible. My 135is is the first convertible I've ever owned. I picked her up in late November and she has been parked on a battery tender since, other than for a couple of several mile jaunts this winter to keep the vital juices flowing. I have yet to wash the car.

What are the ins and outs on washing a convertible? I'm assuming that using my pressure washer might not be a great idea . . . .

Thanks for the link!
I've had a vinyl top classic Mustang vert for the past 16 years but the 1'er top is different material. I used car wash the first time, but since then have only used water on the top.

I have power washed my top many times. I think it is fine since you have more control and I never put it too close. I wouldn't bring it to a car wash since you done know what they set their PSI at. Also, people forget to clean and condition their seals regularly which is very important. This product is the excellent, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o08_s00

Cheers!
