wow craps, I am in the wrong business... looks like I'll be finding something else. At least those who are willing to pay the original price will be getting a break which is better than nothign, but not good enough for me. thx anyway.

its new, and there slightly more complex than a regular bulb, however is it worth 200 bucks? Not even close. A single high end LED is probably between 1-5$. Thats what I am saying... the prices here were likely based off that other LED retailed, that everyone had generally written off as a blatant ripoff.

Is there a warranty on these bulbs? I also recall the angel eyes not lighting up the same as the 3 series. I am going to have to wait to see pictures on the 1 series. Looks like a good product though.

I am sure they look good, just as described... it is better than halogen bulbs etc... but I guarentee the cost to make each side is probably under 5 bucks.
Like I said, if its really 200 bucks for these bulbs, I just might investigate building my own set, and selling them for a LOT cheaper. |

IMO, due to the BMW design of how the rings accept light, it it is impossible to evenly light these rings. The factory bulbs arent as noticable because they are not very bright. The brighter the light the more noticable the difference between the rings are.
That being said, the GB price (substantially lower than $200) was justified. These are much better than GP thunder 8500s. I would never go back to those after having these. |
