ipod
The radio manual that came with my 128i says that it can store 20,000 tunes? As far as I can tell, you have to keep your ipod plugged in to play your music. Is there actually a way to store your tunes and unplug your ipod?

I was told by my dealer that in order to copy files off the thumb drive you need to plug it into the USB drive found in the glovebox rather than the one that you use to play music generally. I have never tried this before any insight? When you put a CD in it should simply ask you to see if you want to store the CD in the car.

If you have iDrive you should have a USB port under the arm rest and on the far right of your glove box. I had to actually look for it, didnt even notice it. Its at the very front before the compartment even starts right behind the door.

So I was thinking of getting rid of my ipod and use my iphone to listen to my music. I can use the bluetooth for my calls but I don't think my cars music system is bluetooth enabled. Anyone know if this is the case for a 2013 135is?
