Xenon Retrofit
Hi Guys
Sold my e90 325D M sport and bought a 130i M sport The car has quite a lot of toys but Xenons which is to be honest is a must have. So has anyone done a retrofit of xenons Checked with the parts dept and the price I am given is close to £3K plus 6.5hr labour which to me is a proper rip off. but someone selling them at quite a reasonable price but before handing over any cash i wanna make sure they would retrofit otherwise it will be a waste of hard earned money. Thanks for your help |

Hi there,
My understanding has always been that the retrofit is so expensive that it puts everyone off and they go with the DEPO option which gives the angel eye effect but without the xenon main beams. There are then bulb upgrades available which improve the brightness of the main beams. The xenon retrofit involves a lot more than just the light units themselves as they have to be fitted with an auto levelling mechanism and washer jets to comply with UK/European law. Sorry it's not better news. |
