1M Sold out in UK?

I'm pretty sure this is the case but would like confirmation!

The annoying thing is we can afford a 1 Series M Coupe!! Want an ///M!!!
We change car in April 2012 - Placing the order late Jan/Early Feb. Will they make more for 2012?

450 and out i think, no more will be made for UK. Are you sure it is sold out, have you checked with your dealer as it is still available to configure on the BMW UK website.

A local dealer down here has one going.

It's allocated to them for a September build and will be a demo if no customer buys it. (still available as of Friday).

I placed my order on the 15th June and am still waiting for confirmation back. Apparently there are production line changes taking place at the moment so my order "cannot be processed" yet (according to BMW UK).

I'm hoping this means that I do have a car and that my order is "to be processed" rather than "to be confirmed".

As of about 2-3 weeks ago, I was told that there were about 125 cars left, however you speak to one dealer and they have them and others do not.

Bottom line, I believe you can still get them but you'll need to ring around

drop a email to BMW customer services on the official website

did that a month ago and received a response that there was still 100 available on the system

my misses ordered that same day at Park Lane BMW

My dealer has said they can't order any more - so I think it will be what's left in the system/ dealers

I will keep my M Coupe as it has an LSD and 400BHP.....I don't see thge point in changing for a different bumper and some flared wheel arches....oh yes and a load of cash !!

Don't forget better resale

Actually, I have no idea what mods do to resale in the UK. Here in the US, the cars get pretty difficult to shift once you've made extensive mods to them (unless you find someone who is a modder and wants a pre-packaged unit)

Um, not sure if you're joking or not - you don't really think the changes are bumper and arches do you?

Obviously the 135i is a great car - I enjoyed mine a lot for 3 years, but I think you're kidding yourself if you really believe the above... The 1M is a totally different drive to the 135i.

Couple of things to reply to here -
Sopers VO one is not "officially" available as it is supposed to be for Steve Soper himself...or is that the dealer spinning a line?
There were 119 left before the weekend of Top Gear showing rave review. Now its less than 40.
BMW dealers can still request a car via quota on demand - however September build quota is full and the system wont let them add to Octobers yet - so if more orders come in than slots left - chances are those September dealer demo cars will all be taken back to quench demand. First come first served basis no doubt.
There are a few unsold cars left - Cooper Croydon still have a loaded AW in their showroom.
