That dealer wouldn't be Doncaster would it? The dealer I am dealing with in NSW can not get a reply out of Doncaster at all. Offering me a AW to replace the VO. Wait until tomorrow to find out options etc that are on it.

Alpine, I'm getting it from BMW Melbourne. Another one of those original buyer never picked it up so it became available this morning as I walked in (or so the story goes!)

If anyone's after a VO, there's potentially an unfulfilled order soon available as well at another dealer in Melbourne.

Interesting Joe, all Canberra DELIVERED cars come in via port Kembla too so you can't tell if they are ACT or not from that detail. I can say however that there has been a total of 12 cars sold by Rolfe BMW here. Note though our cars are, 1 of the NSW cars and 1 of the Vic cars, then there's Kamal's from NSW that is in NT.

Canberra therefore has 14 cars in the territory, a very large number IMHO considering the population is only ~ 300,000.

There were 7 1Ms discharged at Port Kembla on Tuesday 7th Aug and another 4 coming on the 12th August...these could be the last batch arriving.

With the rain here the car is filthy at the moment, doesn't take much to show up on black. I'll be heading over to Final Inspection for their FMJ treatment.

Looks great Ian, let us know your first thoughts of the car, given you had a 135 vert it would be interesting to hear your comments. Zuzu did the same upgrade so it will be good to hear your views.

Enjoy the car over the weekend, remember there's always a spare car park for next weeks GTG if you decide to take a looooong drive

Gota love the BSM with dark tints.. Is it 20% or darker ??

... it's darker! I can see at some point in time I'll get black grills, 2nd set of wheels in black, smoked tail lights ... but not just yet.
I'm not sure what all black will look like tho, I'm sure someone's already done it, just need to see first.

Congrats on the 1M Ian. Looks amazing. BSM is my favourite colour. We have 2 of them.

Congrats on your new 1M. BSM is cool. Our two previous X5 were BSM. I also had a E30 318IS in BSM.

For my 1M, I am putting on black kidney grills, side markers, satin black wheels and CF rear spoiler. Undecided on either CF side mirror caps or paint gloss back as well.

looking forward to seeing how that all looks. Ive got the tint but keen to see what black wheels & grills look like with BSM. Looks cracking on your AW.

Cant make the get together sunday at Campos (great coffee by the way ) but hopefully next time
