Finding the VIN

Once the vehicle is release from the factory for shipping is there a way to find the VIN? I thought that some have said the VIN shows up when checking the status on BMWUSA.com. I believe I could contact my CA and they would know. I just thought it was available on the BMWUSA web site when I checked the status.

I never noticed the VIN magically showing up online.
I just emailed my sales guy and he sent it to me.
You'll need it to track you car on the boat.

Thank you for your response. I guess the only place the VIN shows up is with the dealer. I will contact my CA tomorrow.

Your client advisor can give you the vin no problem. It gets assigned to the car at the beginning of production.
