135i Injector Replacement Question
Just got off the phone with my SA. He told me that they replaced 3 injectors under warranty. From what I understand I thought all 6 were supposed to be replaced at the same time. I asked him about that and he said they only replace the defective ones. Is this correct?

I had all 6 replaced...
When the codes showed two bad injectors. I was told that all 6 had to be replaced at once. I do believe there are model years that may not require all 6. Mine is 2008.

Usually, they replace all the injectors of the bank where an injector failed. If you had two injectors fail and they happen to be from separate banks, then you get all 6 replaced
I remember at one point recently, there was an new injector version which required all the injectors to be replaced even if one failed. Once you had the new version installed, then the first paragraph will apply again. |
