ISO new jet black hood

So I accidently parked behind my wife the other day.... And I need a new hood. Jet black 2012 135i. Are all 1 series hoods the same? I'm planning to search salvage yards instead of relying on a body shop to try to come close to BMW paint job. Any other suggestions?

Yeah they're all the same, shouldn't be too hard to find one

I think the salvage yards are a good place to start as well.

Nice thing is that BMW Jet Black is pretty easy to get right and match the rest of your panels. Good luck.

I have never seen a Chinese Ebay carbon fiber piece fit right on any BMW. They are always off and misaligned.

I love the look but the chances of an eBay CF hood fitting right are low. Even high end CF hoods tend to be tricky, it's just a lot of material and a lot of lines for something to go wrong.

But I say go for it and show us how it fits lol
