That's the successor to 1M.

3-4 years away.

News to me that it's going to use cyl 3.0l.

Thought it would be 4cyl.

An N55 with more power can only be a good thing. I don't think they really need a new 6 cylinder engine for an M2.

The M3 needs a different engine than the one the M2 will use though, I'm sure whatever they do will be more than good enough, as usual.

Would they really have a prototype if the car is over 3 years away? I'd say early to mid 2013 for release?

Is your car here yet? Should be in delivery right? Saw a Black 1M in Guildford the other day. Plate was "9 SV"

That looks more like a camo version of the 1 series m sport that just had pics released.

The picture is new F20 M sport, no M division model for the hatch we were told by Scott but perhaps a supersport or tii with 4 cyl engine.

This info was a few months ago.
