exhaust and intake without tune

Hey guys i was wondering if i could put my exhaust and intake on my car with out a tune until i get my jb4 next week. I just want to be safe. Thanks guys.

No reason why you couldn't. You'll see minimal gains until you get the tune in though. Just don't be disappointed with how the car reacts to the mods without the software to back it up.

The car will learn as you drive. It will not go lean with bolt ons. The only time you have to worry about that is if your tune is wrong for your bolt ons. You'll see the disadvantages of dci, especially without a tune. Less bottom end to mid range power. Drive it a few days, then swap back to the stock airbox and you'll see what mean. You'll love the car with a tune though!
