Can I expect similar payments?
Hi Guys,
I just priced out a 328xi to 37,270 for comparison's sake. For a 36 month lease with 15k a year and 2500 down, the estimated lease price is $472. Is it realistic to think that is what the 1 series would cost me? If not, how much more should I expect? Thanks |

Make sure that the model you chose for a comparison does not have any special lease offers. I would look at other models with similar #s (e.g. 335 coupe) that may have comparable lease offers (I expect no special lease on the 135). Mine differed from $695 to $800. I calculated in the tax in my #s.
35,675 msrp 46,770 with options 3,391 sales tax 50,161 Tolal ouch! |

Thanks for the response. Looks like you really maxed your 1 series out, should be a great car. I dont think id be going with many options as it would push it out of my price range so im figuring around 37k for what I would be getting.
I dont think the lease price i calculated was a special offer as it was just the payment estimator. I just hope the lease prices are reasonable and dont get inflated initially. |

idrive135i, If you want that many options(more luxury), I would go with a 3-series or even a 5-series. The 135i is ment to be more of a raw car. I see you have a A3, if you option out a A3 3.2 your easlily looking at 44,000, it is much slower and less performance oriented. So a optioned out 135i at 47k would be very similar payments, I know which car I would rather have. |
