Dealer gouged my car
I had a run-flat tire replaced by the dealer at great expense last week and also decided to get an alignment.
What I didn't pay for was the two deep gouges over the wheel well which I just noticed this morning. I'm pissed. I'll post photos later. Spoke with the service manager and will be showing him the damage. Here I am doing my damnedest to keep the f'ing car spotless - - Btw, the dealer is Habberstaad in Huntington Long Island. So far they have been very heplful/cooperative...

Good luck. Keep cool with them and don't even entertain the idea that they didn't do it. If you get into a pissing contest with them, they are liable to just claim they didn't do it and say "prove it". Time to break out the honey and hope the flies come!

Good advice. I'll play nice. Fortunately, a guy surveyed the car for dents/dings etc (of which there are none) prior to getting it serviced.

This is why I ALWAYS check my car prior to leaving the dealer. This way you could have said"You checked the car and it was free of dings, why is there dings now?" They can always say it happen after you left, if they want to be asses.
I had the same thing done last week, and I made sure my car was the same before I pulled out. I even checked the rim to make sure they didnt scratch it ect. I hope they fix it for you, good luck.

Feel for you on that one. When I went to pick up my car the dealer had accidently backed it into another car scratching the bumper and they had it sent to get fixed. I went to look at it and it was the worse job ever. They tried to spot paint and you could tell where it was and where they used tape along the lines in the bumper to mask it off. I told them to paint the entire bumper or else they could have the car back. I didn't care if they had to take one off another Bimmer but it was getting fixed. I wasn't mad until they tried to pull one over on me. Just be careful and always check. Good luck!
