Yeah, I am a big fan of the throttle lag fix for MT. Just make sure you turn off DTC. You have so much extra in the new gear, it can break traction a little and then the DTC closes the throttle on you!! We picked up 3 MPH at the drags just with the new throttle lag fix on our 6MT car.... everything else the same.

Hi All,

I have just editted the first post in this thread to include our christmas special:

For the month of December you can get the latest version of Procede (same hardware as we have been selling since early this year, but with latest firmware and maps which are also available as a free upgrade to existing customers), for $1250 inc GST. This includes installation at no extra cost by myself in Sydney or Andrew@SouthernBM in Melbourne (contact me about dealers in other areas I may be able to organise this through), or free delivery for you to install in all other areas in Australia.

In addition, Andrew and I are still offering the taste test: If you are genuinely shopping for a tune and willing to purchase if you are as blown away by our product as we think you will be, you are welcome to try it for a week for free with no obligations. At the end of the taste test you can opt to either have it removed or make payment to keep it in there.

Cheers,

Adrian

Great deal.

This is the best mod you could ever do to the 135/335. Makes you fall in love with the engine all over again

Hi Adrian, going forward after December, would you be looking at adjusting prices if the AUD stays strong against the USD?

Thanks mate.

Post December is not decided yet. It will depend alot on what the dollar does. If the dollars stays where it is, it is likely there will be a reduction from the previous $1495, but the intention at the moment is to make the December price cheaper than the new year price to encourage sales in the Christmas period. I want this to be a real special... not just a normal price under the disguise of the special name.

Currently the cheapest price you get in the US is $945 (and this is a special... not retail, and only offered direct by Vishnu, or a by a Vishnu dealer that does not have as much of a support commitment as I since Vishnu is local support in the US). Delivery is around US$50. A realistic exchange rate you are likely to get (by the time paypal or your credit card or bank has taken its tolls) is around 0.88 (currently dollar is 0.91), and then add GST, and you end up at about my special price, but you get quicker delivery or free install, and around the clock support if you need it. My special is designed to match the US special price.

New year price will depend on sales at this price, and the dollar. Likely to be somewhere midway between old price and special price.

Thanks for that Adrian, most definitely fair enough. Seeing as I haven't actually ordered a vehicle (next 2 weeks, fingers crossed), I was just wondering on future prices as I weigh up potential mods.

Despite what I said above, the US special price has continued to coincide with the release of V4. Therefore I am continuing to offer my special price of AU$1250 inc GST. If you do the calculation of the US special price converted to Australian dollars with delivery and GST added, you will see that this price is designed to prevent people buying directly from the states and come to me instead!!

This special should run until V4 has been released for a month or two... I would say Mar/Apr.

Yep... now would be a good time. I think the tune aspects of this release are all sorted now. We will be adding map selection features now, but they are just nice to have features. Unless something comes up from a tester, the drivability/performance is all sorted.

Gift and a curse, I'll be getting the N55 engine... looks like it'll be a while before I can do some ECU mods!

Andrew, still awaiting that post on your thoughts for the ultimate street/rare motokhana suspension setup .

V4 feels very different to V3, it made the car very smooth!!! low end seems to be not as fast as before, top end still good! (but this maybe due to the fact im just not used to the way power is been delieved, but so smooooth)

I completely agree. The new stuff is so smooth, as you can control the power much more accurately. It does however lose a bit of the bottom end muscle. Before you used to breath on the pedal at 2000 RPM and it would sprint off. Now you have to use more pedal for the same effect, meaning you can now adjust the power and this makes it alot smoother in general driving, but I think even at low RPM, if you do press the pedal all the way down it is as quick as before. The new stuff requires you to floor it to get full power, but as a result, you can now adjust the power for the full pedal travel, whereas before, particularly at low RPM, full power was available at half pedal, and no difference above that.

The Tuning for the N55 will be out not long after the release i feel. Everyone that has anything to do with tuning will be jumping all over it worldwide.

Suspension, yes, Topic for another day.

Do you think there'll be as much tuning potential with this new engine?

Also, is vishnu a reflash or is it a piggyback system?

Vishnu Procede is a piggy back and so is the JB range of products. Both i believe are purchasing cars so a few months after delivery, or so, the piggy backs will be out with their first generation beta tunes. The ECU flash companies with be out with stuff and i'd say the switchable flash would be up there with new products that should be released in the early days.

I believe there is potential in all engines for performance tuning.

Agreed. My question though was do you believe there will be as much tuning potential as the N54 engine.

Sorry to be pedantic, what sold me on a 135 was how easy was to get a lot more power out of the N54. However, I've missed the last production of N54 so I'll be getting the N55 and trying to find out anything I can about what can be done with them.

Worst comes to worst, I could always order an M1
