Fraud by Komitao (Tony phung) update

Hi folks

Well unfortunately I haven't been able to find this guy yet. Alex, from Australia did some good work but it wasn't the right guy. He actually pointed me to a guy named Tony phung, which likely is not his name. Good work nonetheless and much appreciated.

Still trying though and not giving up until he is located.

Just a thought, but I noticed that the username you were having issues with had purchased some parts and was complaining about shipping taking so long.

You know they had to have a shipping address, for him to order parts..... just saying, you may go down that avenue.

You still didn't answer the most important question: How did you pay the guy??

If you paid the guy with a bank transfer of some form the bank should be able to show the RCMP at least where the money went, if you decided to go that route...

Yeah it was. I emailed him the money. Bank can kind of help but I will need the RCMP to assist which I may have to do. Alot more work this way but will do so if I need to.

E92 Lighting won't give up his info even though he has it and know who he really is.

Why don't you just file a fraud report since everything you did can be tracked? Why is this even still up for debate? You've told him numerous times you want the money back, he hasn't responded, so obviously he thinks you're not going to do anything and he got away with it. File a complaint with the RCMP and with your bank and you'll be fine. You won't get your money back trying to "find" him, but you will eventually get it back letting the authorities deal with it.

Wow!! "Electronic W00t" (aka E92 Lighting) is standing by their asshole con artist. I would never purchase a damn thing from somebody who is purposely harboring and protecting a known felon.

I hope the $30 they made off of this slug is worth it. I'd be happy to start a thread getting folk to never purchase from them again...

What do you say, Mr E92 Lighting???

Let's give E92 Lighting the benefit of the doubt and assume he's checking with his lawyer first to make sure he's not violating any statute regarding disclosure of confidential info. No need for him to become a felon in order to trap a felon. The Justice system rarely rewards good intentions.

E92 lighting could easily have provided it in a manner that nobody would have known where it came from.

I'm thoroughly disgusted at this turn of events... and E92 Lighting, please respond here instead of via PM again. I will not delete what I said. I have a right to my opinion. Have the moderators delete it, if they feel it is warranted.
