Someone else had the same thing happen to them. Do a search in the forum. I think he accidently hit the all open button or sat on it.

Its not impossible to consider that the button could've accidently been held or sat on.

I agree. I'm for guilty until proven innocent. I'm serious. My money is on operator error.

The unlock button. It only takes less than about 10-15 secs for everything to open.

Go try it out and see for yourself. If you continue to have problems then yes take it to the dealer.

Park the car in the garage and see if it happens again.

There was someone else that had rain damage from this exact issue happening. I remember the dealer was not going to do anything about it. Search the site and you will find this string.

the unlock button held down would open everything. the moonroof opens last.

he said that his front windows and moonroof were the only ones open.

im kinda doubtful that the person just accidentally sat or depressed the button coz it would stop opening once you let go of the button. then you have to lock your car again to make it work again. correct me if im wrong but thats what i know.

yep, prolly held the button in on accident. Heck, I've unintentionally locked the car on a couple of occasions myself. Pressing on the bigger unlock key would be easy enough to do unnoticed.

i agree with you but some others have actually left the remote somewhere else and something else caused the windows to go down. I remember reading another post about this. Eitherway...just observe and if it occurs again, have it checked out.

Maybe somewhat related, I have a glitch occassionally where the one touch up or down on my windows doesn't work. It has alternated between the passenger side and the driver's side. Has anyone else had this problem?

That damage was covered by the insurance, not dealer/BMWNA.

Missed the no back window. You can restart opening process by pressing the open button again. No need to lock and try again. Fact.
