Magnuson Moss Act
So, what I want to understand is how this act is/will be interpreted by dealer if you bring your car in with these types of mods. According to this, it's illegal for a dealer is void a warranty with aftermarket parts.

Yea it is BUT. you would need to retain an atorney and fight it.
Trust me its happened to me before and it was cheaper to fix the car myself than pay all the lawyer and court fees up front to maybe win the case. BMW has much better attorneys than you can ever afford.
