wow that sounded great......was the traction control on? I heard the spin in the beginning but it seemed as though the throttle was cut a bit in 1st gear...

It’s the new launch control system on the vette Grand Sport… push the button, hold in the clutch, hit the gas to the floor, pop off the clutch, and as long as you shift good you get an automatic 0-60 in 4 sec!
And it worked amazingly!

This Grand Sport is a great looking car IMO. It adds the aggressive stance of the Z06, and I'm loving the wheel design. I wouldn't pick the 'Vert for myself, but that color looks great on it.

Finally!

The C6 was a great platform and bread the Z06 the ZR1 and now the GS.
I would have to say that the Vette is still the only GM product I’d spend my money on though…

do you really need to shift on this vette to 2nd for 0-60? If I am not mistaken, the Z06 that I rode in was able to hit 70mph on 1st.

The Z06 is geared a little higher because it's got more power. On the normal Vette's you need to go from 1st to 2nd around 45MPH.
