custom made hartge style steering wheel for sale. the steering wheel starts off as an oem sports steering wheel. the leather is then stripped and the frame of the steering wheel is re-shaped and re-welded before it is upholstered again.

you will have a choice of smooth leather, perforated leather or alcantara. i can also do a combination of two different materials. you can choose what color stitching you want. m3 style tri-color stitching is also possible.

below are pictures of how a sample steering wheel looks like on my car. i will post more pics of other steering wheels that have been made before.

i can do steering wheels with or without paddle shifters.

the price is $800 shipped. since this is a custom job, turn around time is about 3 to 4 weeks (this includes the shipping time).

i can also do the steering wheels with carbon inlays for an extra charge.

the original hartge steering wheels go for bout $2000 to $3000, see the links below to give you a rough idea on pricing.

also, for those of you who are wondering, i am NOT selling the steering wheel in the pictures (its mine and i am keeping it). the one that you will get will be a freshly made one with NEW leather (your choice) and your own stitching color preference.

but I'm kinda interested in that shift knob and boot... are those custom made too?
I've a UUC knob that looks similar to the one you've, but the boot is still stock.

shift boot was custom made but the shift knob was from UUC ... i love it.. its by far the heaviest knob i have ever felt.. and the shape is amazing to feel in my hand!.

yea, thats totally possible but so far the upholstery shop i deal with hasnt done one in alcantara... the main reason being that alcantara doesnt age well. it tends to discolor when used a lot (esp with people who have sweaty hands)
