I am getting my 2008 e82 tuned next week using Evolve R.. read some reviews and did plenty of research, quite happy if the results on paper translate the same.. will def keep you posted on the outcome.

No idea what it's like on a 125i but I'm running the evolveR on the 1M and very happy with it.
Easy to install/remove, have had zero issues, and made a noticeable difference to the performance of the car. Obviously the gains would be very different for your car. But in general a great tune, quick feedback from Evolve and I like how Saurabh is local and I can PM or text him with any questions. I bought it from him and highly recommend him. Hope this helps, Ian |

The N52 is NA which is a whole different story. There are always mixed reviews on tunes for it, many people say it makes the car 'feel more responsive' but none have posted a definitive before/after dyno figure. I'm inclined to believe the gains are not worth it given the price.

Understand the differences Jeef, my reply was more to do with the support and usability of Evolve.
I have NFI what the gains would be on a 125, whether its value for money or not only the OP can decide ... It's his money! |

It's for OP to decide but it's pretty fair to say over a grand for +10hp is bad value for money from an objective standpoint.

ON a serious note Drawn05's 125i dyno'd at 140 atw... pretty impressive given a stock 125i dynos between 120-125. |

interesting to note that on the stock 125i, Evolve reckons that there is an approximate gain of 38kw and 52nm on a stock vehicle. I will be getting a before and after dyno done.. and an appox to me would be 30+kw gain at the least, anything under that i would expect a full refund subject to my final satisfaction.
http://turingms.com/products/evolve-r-e82-n52 I think thats fair..

I thought you were getting rid of the 125 Eric, you know you want the 135

If you dyno 120 atw stock and 135 atw post tune, I'd walk away pretty happy As an ex 325i owner I would've paid $1k easy for a decent gain like that. |

My 125i's performance stats.
146.5rwkw at the last Advan dyno day 14.4 @ 97mph w/ a full tank of fuel at WSID. 60ft 2.15 race weight = 1536kg - With a more aggressive tune, better launch (better than 2.1 60ft) and only an 1/8th tank of MS109 might get 13.9, which think would qualify it as a decent little car. |
