Stock airbox...troubles putting it back in :(
I am tired of the sound my BMS dci makes and I'm going in for service for the ticking sound for the N54...
I cannot for the love of god put the stock airbox back in. Is there any advice on what I can do?! I can fit the box into the grommets but I cannot !@#@ing put the hoses back on flush. This is driving me nuts. ADVICE PLEASE. |

I would put the DCI back on and warm the car up. The hoses will be easier to put back on the factory box after the engine is warmed up.

Make sure you unclipped the vacuum line that sits directly in front of the airbox. I forgot about that once and it made getting the airbox back in nearly impossible

you can, but to save 2 minutes of work, it's worth just removing it.

to save myself the hassle of them taking notes down, i found it better to remove my jb3, intake and axle back...
i'm going in for several rattles in the interior, ticking noise from the engine, and i think that's about it for now. i'm kind of hoping for my hpfp to blow so i can get the new part 943 to see how that is like...so far else everything else has been awesome on this car. i hope ams/cp-e comes with their aftermarket pump as well... I still haven't got the cowl on...seems like it won't sit underneath the panel -_- fingers hurt too much, try again tmrw. hahaha |
