motivation!.....
I posted this, my favorite track/driving video, on the 128 modifications forum, in response to a question about a "whining" sound from the engine/gearbox. I got no replies. Disappointed, I thought it might be better appreciated here. I am amazed each time I watch this. If you think you know how to go around any track, here is someone whom has truly mastered the Ring!

good god the guy was on fire! perfect lap, no mistakes. wow! the whining is the transmission and since these cars have no sound proofing, you get to hear everything. I wonder if the m3 is an e36 or e46. probably e36 since the video seems old

looking at the grid at the bottom of his wiki, looks like it may be the e46. regardless, awesome driving.

Two Schnitzer Motorsport GTR cars saw a comeback in 2003 at the 24 Hours Nürburgring, winning 1–2 in 2004 and 2005. On-board video coverage was recorded by the team in the 2004 Hans-Joachim Stuck, Pedro Lamy, Jörg Müller and Dirk Müller effort on the Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps. Based on all the Porsche 996s being passed, that clip appears to be part of the 2004 Nürburgring qualifications. |
