Nice. And where did you find that teeny weeny little cable from the Belkin to the Aux jack? It's the perfect size.

I looked all over, but ended up having to make it myself. I can make more if folks are interested.

OK, here's the deal. I ordered the Belkin iPod charger from their website.

http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=193794

If you enter 12345 as a coupon code, you can get anything on their website for half price.

I looked all over for a short mini stereo cable, but ended up having to make one myself. I can make some more and the cost would be minimal. Only what the parts and shipping come out to. If anyone is interested, drop me an e-mail or PM.

thanks for the info!
but i've got some questions;
1) can you control the ipod with the car audio system this way?

2)does the belkin kit charges your iPod from your car's cigarette lighter, and is it also possible to do this with my bmw e46?
but i have the problem that i don't have an aux. input...

1) No, you must control the music using the iPod itself, or another solution, such as an add on remote.

2) It does charge the iPod, and will work in any car with a power socket. If you have a cassette player, you can use a cassette adaptor. If not, it's time for an FM modulator or FM transmitter. Or, you can wait for the BMW iPod kit, or the Dension kit, when they are ready.

Quarters, I think. I think it's a change holder.

It is a vent to keep your can of soda cold. There is a switch to open and close it as well.

I'm guessing Red meant the slots at the top front of the console, which I think is for change. The ones at the bottom of the cup holder are for cooling or heating a beverage like you said. Just to clear up any confusion.
