Detailer's Domain: Audi Q5 New Car Prep
This was a brand new Audi Q5 - of course black - less than 50 miles.
When I get calls for new car preps....I usually cringe. 12 hours later...... What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and washed down - Wheel wells were cleaned up - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Tires dressed - Masking - 2 Step Polish - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned - Windows were clayed and sealed Interior -Leather Cleaned and conditioned -Dash and plastics cleaned -Vacuumed Installed Winter Rubber Mats Products used Exterior: 1Z einszett W99 Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Uber Clay Bar kit with Optimum No Rinse Einszett Spray Wax Menzerna Super Intensive Polish Menzerna PO85RD Menzerna Power Lock Wheels/Tires Uber Wheel and Tire Kit Autoglym Instant Tire Dressing Glass Adam's Glass Cleaner Adam's Glass Sealant Interior Sonax Dashboard Cleaner Sonax Leather Foam Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Fenix TK40 Flex 3403 Makita The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Kranzle K1120T with Cam Spray Foam Gun Let's start with the interior....(the owner has a 3 year old)       Winter Mats   After shots   Exterior Before shots Tire dressing sling from the dealer  Vertical scratches from the film removal (dealer)   Kranzle K1120T  Cleaning wheels with Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner        Washed car down with einszett W99      Clay   Before shots (this is a sampling of what was all over the car)    After   After shots              Enjoy!
